A Penn Hills woman died late last night after losing control of her vehicle and crashing into a utility pole, police said.

Nicole Zuro, 30, died about 11:30 p.m. after hitting the pole on Old William Penn Highway near McCully Drive, Penn Hills police Chief Howard Burton said.

Burton said Zuro's vehicle hit several tree stumps, causing it to roll before striking the pole, the Pittsburgh Trib reports.
