Animal Rescue League Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, 6000 Verona Road in Penn Hills, will offer Camp Muddy Boots, a summer camp for children.
Applications are being accepted for one-week sessions in June and August.
A new camp for children ages 11 to 14 will be held in July.
Hours will be 9 a.m. to noon on weekdays.
Sessions are scheduled for June 23 to 27 (ages 6 to 10), July 14 to 18 (ages 11 to 14) and Aug. 4 to 8 (ages 6 to 10).
Children will meet the center's animals, learn about Pennsylvania wildlife, hike the center's new nature trail and make crafts.
Fee is $150 per week, which helps fund care of nearly 2,000 injured and orphaned wild animals at the center each year. Some discounts may apply. Limited space is available.

Dinner tickets are $6. Local delivery will be available.
The event, which will include demonstrations, a visit from a medical helicopter and children's activities, will benefit the department's fund for a new truck.
Blackridge events
Blackridge Civic Association, 1200 Beulah Road, will hold its annual strawberry festival this Sunday, beginning at 2 p.m.
Besides offering a make-your-own strawberry shortcake bar, the association will review the past year and highlight upcoming events.
Blackridge Swim Club will accept pool membership applications, lifeguard applications and Barracudas swim team registrations at the festival. Team suits will be available to try on and purchase. See www.blackridgeswimclub.org [3] for more information.
The festival, as well as membership in the civic association, swim club and swim team, is open to residents of surrounding communities.
The swim club is hiring lifeguards for this summer (approximately Memorial Day through Labor Day). Candidates must have current lifeguard certification, including certification in adult and child CPR.
Each position will be scheduled for 20 hours per week.
