Bill and Naomi Kohl of Plum announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Lauren, to Christian Davies Randolph of Monroeville, son of Clarence Randolph and the late Susan Randolph.

The future bridegroom is a graduate of Gateway High School and Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where he received his degree in health and physical education and sports administration.

Christian is employed as a physical education teacher, Allegheny Intermediate Unit, at Woodland Hills School District.

The future bride is a graduate of Plum Senior High School and Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where she received her degree in elementary and special education and a master's degree in reading specialist.

Melissa is a secondary autistic support teacher, Allegheny Intermediate Unit, at Woodland Hills School District.

The couple is planning a July 19, 2008, wedding at St. John the Baptist in Plum and the Syria Mosque in Cheswick.

SCHMITT-KIRBY

Gail and Andy Schmitt of Monroeville announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren of Christiana to Steven Kirby of Christiana, son of Karen and Greg Kirby of Kennett Square.

The future bride is a graduate of Gateway High School and Millersville University in Millersville, where she received her Bachelor of Science in elementary and special education.

Lauren is employed as a learning support teacher at Penn Manor High School of Lancaster.

The future bridegroom is a graduate of Kennett High School and Millersville University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in business with an option in accounting.

Steven is a business systems analyst at Airgas Inc. in Wilmington, Del.

The couple is planning a Nov. 8, 2008, wedding at Rivers Club in Pittsburgh.

FINK-HEPLER

Richard and Barb Fink of Meadville announce the engagement of their daughter, Dana Marie of Alexandria, Va., to Michael Hepler of Alexandria, son of Lester and Sandra Hepler of Monroeville.

The future bridegroom is a graduate of Gateway Senior High School and a 2004 graduate of Robert Morris University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.

The future bride is a graduate of Saegertown High School in Saegertown and a 2007 graduate from Gannon University in Erie.

Dana and Michael are both employed as auditors with the Department of Defense, Office of the Inspector General in Arlington, Va.

The couple is planning a June 2009 wedding at Stone United Methodist Church in Meadville with a reception at the Iroquois Club in Conneaut Lake.
