David Eppinger
Army veteran, diesel mechanic
David L. Eppinger, 66, of Vero Beach, Fla., formerly of Penn Hills, died April 15, 2008, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville.
Born Aug. 7, 1941, he was the son of Howard and Ruean Fennel Eppinger.
Employed for 35 years as a diesel mechanic for Union Railroad, Mr. Eppinger was an Army veteran, a member of American Legion Post 980 and Free Masons and an avid fisherman.
Friends were received at Soxman Funeral Homes, Roth Chapel, Penn Hills.

Janice Abaray
Mother of one
Janice Cova Abaray, 63, of Penn Hills, died April 15, 2008.
She is survived by her husband, Michael J. Abaray; daughter, Amy Abaray-Capwell and her husband, Robert; brother, Alfred Cova; and niece and nephew, Clayton and Alyssa Cova.
Private arrangements were handled by Trenz Funeral Home Inc., Penn Hills.
Barbara Kaczmarek
Toledo native
Barbara L. Kaczmarek, 57, of Penn Hills, died April 19, 2008, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville.
Born Sept. 7, 1950, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of Wallace and June Schumacher Worf.
Surviving are her son, Brian Kaczmarek of Augusta, Ga.; brothers, Donald and John Worf; sister, Demetra Mavrophilopos; and friend, James Gallagher of Penn Hills.
Visitation was at Burket-Truby Funeral Home, Oakmont. Interment was at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Penn Hills.
Cecelia A. Bossert
Married 44 years
Cecelia A. Bossert, 89, of Corry, formerly of Penn Hills, died April 20, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Howard Cecil Bossert ; son, H. Barry Bossert; three brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Phyllis Bossert of Centre Hall; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received at 11 a.m. this Saturday at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Oakmont, where a service will be held at noon, immediately following visitation.

Mina Tominello
Grandmother of six
Mina Bell Tominello, 93, of Penn Hills, died April 12, 2008.
Surviving are her sons, Joseph and Ronald Tominello; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Marion Schleicher
Grandmother of five
Marion I. Schleicher, 81, of Penn Hills, died April 14, 2008.
She loved gardening and the Steelers.
Her husband, William Schleicher Sr., preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, William Schleicher Jr., Barbara Sims and Terri Schleicher; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was at Soxman Funeral Homes Ltd., Penn Hills.
Carmela Brogneri
Married 65 years
Carmela Brogneri, 83, of Oakmont, formerly of Penn Hills, died April 19, 2008, at UPMC St. Margaret.
Born May 20, 1924, in Catanzaro, Italy, she was the daughter of Luigi and Domenica Vero Cosentio.
Mrs. Brogneri was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church and a former member of Italian Sons and Daughters of America.
Her husband of 65 years, Francesco Brogneri, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, Maria Castellano and her husband, Salvatore, of Penn Hills, Rosetta Brogneri of Orlando, Fla., Cesare Brogneri and his wife, Anita, of Harmar Township, Sylvia Camerota and her husband, Paul, of Harmar Township and Anna Segreti of Monroeville; sisters, Rosina Parrotta and Ada Giglio; brother, Joseph Cosentio; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends and family were received at Burket-Truby Funeral Home Cremation & Alternative Services Inc., Oakmont. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church with the Rev. Frank Kurimsky officiating. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Homewood.
Mary Kutzmark
Married 57 years
Mary Joan "Jo" Kutzmark, 78, of Oakmont, died April 18, 2008, at Willows Presbyterian SeniorCare, Oakmont.
Born Nov. 7, 1929, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of James and Alma Taylor Jacobs.
A member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church in Oakmont, she enjoyed singing, traveling and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, George Kutzmark; and children, Thomas Kane and his wife, Carolyn, of Penn Hills, the Rev. Tim (Jim) Kutch and his partner, Jim, of Boston and Tammy Easterday-Kutzmark and her husband, Cary, of Oak Park, Ill.
Friends and family were received at Burket-Truby Funeral Home Cremation & Alternative Services Inc., Oakmont. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Oakmont, with the Rev. Frank Kurimsky officiating. Interment was at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery, Pittsburgh.

Robert Collins Sr.
World War II veteran
Robert W. Collins Sr., 81, of Penn Hills, died April 17, 2008.
Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Edward Sr. and Miriam Lugar Collins.
Mr. Collins was an Army veteran of World War II.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Jr., Kenneth Sr. and Raymond Collins; and sister, Vivian Collins.
Surviving are his wife, Eileen Ward Collins; sons, Robert Collins Jr. and his wife, Kim, Ronald Collins and his wife, Cathy, Richard Collins and his wife, Marsha, and Randal Collins and his wife, Kelly; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was at William F. Gross Funeral Home, Penn Hills. Interment was at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Penn Hills.
