Nicholas Dialoiso Jr.
Marriage lasted 47 years
Nicholas Joseph Dialoiso Jr., 68, of Plum, died June 20, 2008, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.
Born Sept. 6, 1939, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Hazel (O'Rourke) Dialoiso of St. Joseph, Mich., formerly of Penn Hills, and the late Nicholas Dialoiso Sr.
Mr. Dialoiso owned and operated Nick's Appliance Service in Plum, which remains in operation, for more than 30 years.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jean (Schano) Dialoiso; children, Nick and his wife, Michelle, of Green Tree, and Robert and his wife, Cheryl, of Charleston, S.C.; and sister, Linda BeHage and her husband, Gene, of St. Joseph.
Friends were received at Burket-Truby Funeral Home Cremation & Alternative Services Inc., where a service was held with the Rev. Gary Koch officiating. Interment was private.

Peter DiBello
Moved to Plum
Peter "Tony" DiBello, 67, of Plum, originally of Penn Hills, died June 17, 2008.
He was a U.S. Postal Service worker for more than 35 years.
Surviving are wife, Marlene Oleniacz DiBello; sons, Anthony DiBello, Charles DiBello and his wife, Nina, and Emil DiBello and his wife, Kristen; brothers, Mickey DiBello and Raymond DiBello; sisters, Genevieve and Carol; and four grandchildren.
Friends were received at Soxman Funeral Homes Ltd., Penn Hills. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. John the Baptist Church, Plum.
Charles Moekle
Coraopolis native
Charles David Moekle, 78, of Penn Hills, died June 18, 2008.
Born Jan. 19, 1930 in Coraopolis, he was the son of Charles and Ethel May Ritchay Moekle.
He was employed as a manager at Allen Gauge and Tool Co. for 57 years.
Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline Wiley Moekle; sister, Alice Ralph; brother, James Moekle; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home Inc. Interment followed at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Penn Hills.

Edith McCann
Sears retiree
Edith (Carney) Adrian McCann, 90, of Penn Hills, died June 20, 2008, in St. Margaret Seneca Place.
Born May 22, 1918, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late John and Edith (Torrence) Carney.
Mrs. McCann retired as a sales clerk from Sears, Roebuck and Co. after 30 years of service. She was a member of St. Susanna Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Herbert Adrian and Anthony McCann; and stepdaughter, Carol Sarp.
Surviving are her stepson, Michael McCann; stepgrandchildren; great-stepgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today (Thursday) at Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road, Penn Hills. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. this Friday in St. Susanna Church with the Rev. Martin Barkin officiating. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
R. Gilmore Snively
Edgewater Steel retiree
R. Gilmore Snively, 93, of Rosedale, died June 22, 2008.
Mr. Snively was a retired sales manager for Edgewater Steel with 47 years of service.
A volunteer firefighter with Rosedale Fire Department from 1936-62, he served on Penn Hills School Board from 1948-65 and Penn Hills School Authority for eight years.
He was a 40-year member of Willowbrook Country Club, a member of Penn Justice Free & Accepted Masons 766 and a longtime member of Rosedale United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Surviving are his wife, Alice (McIntyre) Snively; children, Ronald Gilmore Snively and his wife, Dee, of Butler, and Carol Dakan and her husband, David, of Murrysville; and three grandchildren.
Friends were received at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Oakmont, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. today (Thursday).
Memorial contributions are suggested to Rosedale United Methodist Church, 5501 Third St., Verona, PA 15147; or to a charity of one's choice.
Rosemary Grasso
Owned Hippo's Pub
Rosemary (Pratillo) Grasso, 74, of Penn Hills, died June 21, 2008.
She was the owner of Hippo's Pub.
She was preceded in death by a sister; and a son-in-law.
Surviving are her husband, David Grasso; children, David Jr. and his wife, Debbie, and Theresa Botta; brothers, James Pratillo and Guy Pratillo and his wife, Dawn; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at Charles W. Trenz Funeral Home Inc. Mass was celebratedin St. Gerard Majella Church.
Catherine Bee
Grandmother of one
Catherine J. Bee, 52, of Verona, died June 19, 2008.
Surviving are her husband, Steve Bee; son, James Bee; sisters, Betty Lou Jullian and Kim Gravelle; brothers, David Gravelle, Tom Gravelle, Bob Gravelle and Harry Gravelle; and one grandchild.
A memorial service was held at English Funeral Home Inc., Oakmont.
