Penn Hills Senior Service Center has partnered with Peggy Leard of the IRS to offer a stimulus payment filing workshop three times in April.

The workshop will be held at the senior center on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. and April 11 from 10 to 11 a.m. in the lunchroom.

Registration is required by calling 412-244-3407.

Anyone planning to stay for lunch must call Dee at 412-244-3401 to register for lunch the day before by 11 a.m.

To participate, seniors must be collecting Social Security or railroad retirement and be at least age 65.

Participants need to bring their 1099 from Social Security or railroad retirement, pension and interest statements and a postage stamp.

These workshops are for those who do not normally file an income tax return.

The center is located at 147 Jefferson Road.
