YOUNG VOICES: Local fourth-graders make resolutions for 2006
Students in Lisa Salenske's fourth-grade class at Washington Element-ary School were asked the following question:
"What is your New Year's resolution?"
Here are their responses:
- Michael DelleFemine "My New Year's resolutions are to be nice and more active. I want to lose weight."
- India Bryant-Cunningham "My New Year's resolutions are to start helping around my house and start going over to my best friend's house."
- Hanna Rubin "My New Year's resolutions are to try to be nice to my sister, try not to be annoying, help around the house and listen."
- Tionna Blakeman "My New Year's resolution is to help my mom around the house. I tried to get perfect attendance this whole school year. Also, I want to either get high honor roll or honor roll."
- Hannah Mitchell "My New Year's resolutions are to get good grades and be a nice child."
- Jalen Lee "My New Year's resolution is to get up whenever my mom tells me to."
- Cameron Hill "My New Year's resolution is stop fighting with my brother."
- Jamie Scott "My New Year's resolutions are to stop being a brat and being mean to people."
- Eddie Silvio "My New Year's resolution is to never sin."
- Kyle Waters "My New Year's resolutions are to be good and play less video games."
- Amanda Silvio "My New Year's resolution is to stop drinking diet soda."
- Khalil Sellers "My New Year's resolution is to get good grades."
- Brad Berry "My New Year's resolution is to clean the room at my house."
- Chris Sloan "My New Year's resolution is to not fight with my sister."
- Josh East "My New Year's resolution is to practice my clarinet."
- Aminah Street "My New Year's resolution is to respect my family and others."
- Avary Austin "My New Year's resolutions are to listen to my brothers and to do more work around the house."
- Kenny Stritzinger "My New Year's resolution is to get all A's."
